Top Tier Moving LLC

THIS IS AN UPDATE: I posted the below-referenced review and they had the nerve to say that I was never a customer. SO UNETHICAL. I've gone ahead and updated this review by attaching a literal receipt from Top Tier Moving LLC. (See below) Original Review: 👇 This wasn't a moving experience, this was a nightmare. An absolute SHAKEDOWN. If you’re even considering TopTier Moving, ASK THEM WHO IS ACTUALLY SHOWING UP DAY-OF! If the answer is Move King, LLC....RUN. I got ripped off, big time. I was completely taken advantage of and my valuables showed up shattered beyond repair. To this day, they refuse to take accountability. I’ve moved over 15 times in my life. I’ve worked with reputable movers and shady ones, but NOTHING comes close to the absolute trainwreck that is TopTier Moving (a name so ironic it's almost offensive). They quoted me about $3,600 for my move. Reasonable. But when the movers actually showed up, Move King, LLC, TopTier's third-party vendor that they never warned me about, they immediately told me the job would cost me an additional $3,000. No discussion. No explanation. Just a bait-and-switch right at my front door. Let that sink in: before a single item was moved, I was already being held hostage for $3,000 more than I agreed to. And it only got worse from there. My TopTier "point of contact," who was really just the sales guy who convinced me they were a reputable company, ghosted me immediately after my initial payments were processed. He never once answered a call or email after I paid. Move King tacked on ridiculous charges like $300 because the hallway in my building was “too long.” That’s not a joke...they literally charged me by the foot to walk. Every step they took seemed to cost me more money. I ended up paying over $7,000, nearly double the original quote. And what did I get for it? A shattered ( and brand-new) $1,300 Google TV, broken in transit despite paying top dollar for boxes and “protective wrapping.” So much for professional care. I had to take the time to write this because companies like this should be shut down. I've never experienced a company so unethical in my life and I hope this doesn't happen to you.

They reported my previous review to google to get it removed and the owner looked up my name and contacted me on Facebook to remove the review. This is a scam do not fall for them. They made me pay non refundable deposit and when the carrier came tried to charge me double the amount or lose my deposit. They are a brokerage not a carrier so 100% they will tell you a small amount and when the carrier come they will try to charge you more. I disputed the charge and they lied and said they performed the service when in fact they just stole my hard earned money and put me in a bad situation that I had to rent a Peneske truck as I couldn’t find anything on time and it cost me more than it should have. Just punch of scammers looking to keep the non refundable deposit and have no intention in moving anything out

Rob at Top Tier Moving LLC was prompt in responding from the first phone call on. They moved two rooms worth of furniture into storage. They arrived and ended on exact times estimated during the initial call. All items large and small were handled with great care. We were very concerned that the items would not fit in storage but Rob is an organizational (Tetris) expert! They fit everything in neatly with room to spare. Very professional, responsible and thorough. We definitely will contact them again when we are ready to move everything from storage into our new home.

They were great. Very professional. Very careful. Our move went without a hitch on a cold, very windy day. They only unpacked our truck, but pointed out the shortcomings of the preparation for some items in the truck so we knew they would be great packers too. I highly recommend and already hired them again!
