Touch of Class Painting and Handyman Service is a Pawtucket handyman outfit, and in the reviews it is one man's name that comes up: Carlos. Its written reviews, all on Google, run from 2023 to 2024, and Google shows 5 stars from 12 ratings. Those reviews are about quick, small jobs done when they were needed. In a May 2024 review, a customer needed hand rails installed for a very sick relative coming to stay; Carlos stopped by within minutes and did the job the next day, at a price the customer called very fair. In July 2024, a homeowner said Carlos squeezed in replacing deck boards before a big anniversary party, sent texts and pictures through the day, and kept working through a torrential downpour. A July 2023 reviewer called on a Saturday and had Carlos there Sunday, on his day off, for an urgent issue. In an October 2023 review, a customer described him trying hard to fix a vandalized planter at an office building that turned out to be beyond repair. The Rhode Island contractor registry lists home improvement registration GC-40657, held by TOUCH OF CLASS PAINTING & HANDYMAN SERVICE, as expired. The Better Business Bureau lists the same number, 40657.

Carlos came recommended by our regular contractor. We had some boards that needed replacing on our deck and Carlos squeezed us in so they would be done before a big anniversary party. He kept us up to date throughout the day with text and pictures and did a great job. He even stuck it out during a torrential downpour to get the job done. Reasonably priced, responsive and got the job done right. What more could you ask for from a contractor. Definitely will hire again!
I needed some hand rails installed ASAP for a very sick relative coming to stay with me. Carlos responded immediately, stopped by within minutes and did the job the next day,. The job was done professionally and cleanly. The price was very fair I thought and the quality of workmanship was great. Touch of Class is now my “go to” handyman company.
I had an amazing experience with Carlos ! He was top-notch, and the job exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent service. Excellent & Reliable service; very professional and on time,
Carlos is professional, responsive and diligent in his handyman work, but best of all he’s honest, reliable and a pleasure to do business with. I had an exterior planter at my office building that was vandalized and he really tried hard to fix it but was beyond repair. He treated my planter as if it was his own property and I respected that immensely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone, for any type of job (residential or commercial). Good people like Carlos are hard to find!
I cannot tell you how great Carlos is .. I called Saturday he came Sunday during his day off to sort out an issue that was urgent.. His quality of work and integrity was top noch.. I highly recommend him.. Thank you Carlos... Romeo
