Eleven five-star Google reviews landed in the six months before this was written, and the same word keeps surfacing: seamless. Transitions Kitchens, Baths and Remodeling works out of Norwell on the South Shore; the company says it's been family-owned since 2006, founded by Craig Ricciarelli, who it states still estimates and personally oversees every project. Its stated territory stretches from Hingham and Cohasset down through Plymouth and Duxbury, west to Braintree and Quincy. This spring, one reviewer's master bath and powder room remodel went, in her words, efficiently start to finish, with designer Karen picking out tile, fixtures, cabinets, and paint along the way. A March review credits the team with a kitchen and first-floor bathroom and laundry remodel that added a mudroom and reconfigured the entryway, working closely with Karen throughout. A more recent review, from July, put it plainly: on or ahead of schedule, from a fresh kitchen down to the new hardwood floor. Across a 20-year, 30-review history spanning six sources, that pattern holds — Google rates it 4.5 stars from 54 ratings, Angi a perfect 5.0, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. A couple of things are worth checking before booking. The business isn't BBB-accredited despite that A+ grade, and its footprint on Angi is thin — just one rating, logged back in 2016 — so most of what can be confirmed outside Google sits in a handful of smaller directories. One older listing, on hubbiz.com, still shows a former Washington Street address, so confirm you have the current 433 Washington St location before a visit. For a full kitchen or bathroom gut renovation where you want one crew running design, demolition, and installation instead of a rotating set of subcontractors, this is the kind of shop reviewers describe pulling off cleanly. Its Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (153487) is active — worth a quick check of scope and dates — and Craig Ricciarelli's direct, hands-on role is worth asking about upfront if that's what's drawing you to them.

Craig and his team were excellent from start to finish. On or ahead of schedule, excellent craftsmanship and very professional. They remodeled our kitchen including a new hardwood floor. Would highly recommend.

Transitions performed a complete renovation of my master bathroom. The old room was completely demolished down to the studs. I am extremely happy with the final results as Craig’s team provided great guidance throughout the process - from design through implementation. All members of his team were very professional in their approach to the job. The craftsmanship is exceptional. If you are someone who is a bit of a perfectionist and you want the job to be done “just right”, then Transitions should be your choice.

I had my master bath and powder room remodeled in 2024. The whole process was very efficient. I first met with their design person, Karen. She helped me pick out all the tile, fixtures, and cabinets. She also suggested paint colors and made that part of the process fun. Craig coordinated the whole project from demolition to the final paint job. Everything stayed on schedule and I am really happy with the end results. I highly recommend Transitions Kitchen and Bath for remodeling projects.

Craig and his team did an amazing job with our project - renovating the kitchen and first floor bathroom/laundry room, adding a mudroom, and reconfiguring our entry. Karen was very helpful throughout the design process and the construction crew was great to work with.

We worked with transitions to remodel the majority of our first floor, kitchen, bathroom, living room and office. I can’t recommend them enough. They were great to work with from start to finish. From design ideas to demo and installation everything went flawlessly. I look forward to working with Craig and his team on future projects.
