In 2025, bathrooms brought people back to Thom Cincotta. A March 2025 Google reviewer hired him for a new bathroom because he had already done the reviewer's kitchen, and said he coordinated with the other trades and did the floor and shower tile himself; another customer that month said they had used him for both of their bathrooms and several other projects. Cincotta Renovation, at 167 Webster St in Rockland, is by its own account a one-person renovation and carpentry business run by Thom Cincotta, who trained under a Cape Cod general contractor and studied fine woodworking and construction at the North Bennet Street School. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#170947) is active. Its BBB page is an A+, and it holds 4.5 stars from 8 Google ratings. A May 2025 reviewer said he helped plan and pick materials, then built a tiled shower and put in a double vanity, a new toilet, lights and a floor. A June 2025 customer had two small mahogany decks built with Intex railings and a post wrapped to match the front of the house. A long-time client, writing in June 2025, listed bathroom remodeling, kitchen tile and a ninja-themed kids room. A March 2025 reviewer said the job came in on time and under budget. In June 2025, a 1-star Google reviewer said a worker driving a company van honked at and gave the finger to the reviewer's wife and kids on 93, and called that super unprofessional.
Thom built two small mahogany decks, installed Intex railings, and wrapped a post in custom fashion to match the front of the house. Great work, great guy.
Get your workers under control. Was beeping his horn and flipping off my wife and kids in their car going north on 93. Typically would not write a review like this but as a character reference I would never hire this company. Super unprofessional and in a company van too. Good luck.
We have worked with Thom for many years on a range of projects. From bathroom remodelling to kitchen tile to a fun ninja kids room project - he is always fun to have around and does excellent work with attention to detail and quality. Trustworthy and kind, we all love it when Thom is at our house working on something.
Thom did an amazing job at every step of our renovation -- helping us plan, pick out materials, and then the work itself. He is fast, professional, creative, and honest. Highly recommend! He built us a beautiful tiled shower, put in a double vanity and new toilet, lights, and floor. Excellent work, excellent guy!
Love my new bathroom! Thanks to Thom, I now have a lovely, spa-like new bath. I called Thom because he did my kitchen and I knew he was talented, knowledgeable, and would offer a reasonable price. His tile work for the floor and shower was impeccable. In short time he coordinated with other trades, answered all my questions/concerns, and delivered a beautiful new space. He is responsive and professional and a pleasure to work with. I enthusiastically endorse Thom and his superior work.
