After a big old pine came down in a storm, one customer said Ben had it broken down and off the fence before the power even came back on, and fixed the small dog run fence it had landed on. A customer whose branch snapped and snagged between limbs said Ben responded shortly after a voice mail and removed the limb carefully. Ben and his partner removed 2 trees right next to one household's internet fiber connection and had the whole job done in 1 1/2 hours. Ben and his team took down 2 maples and a willow for one customer, pruned a tall river birch and a honey locust, ground the maple and willow stumps and removed the debris. A customer who had 3 trees removed said they put down boards so they would not leave tire tracks in the wet ground, and did not damage 2 trees close by. A customer said Treehuggers helped grind some stumps that were too gnarly to dig out. One customer said the price paid was the price quoted, and that the crew asked about underground utilities and sewer lines so the large truck could avoid them. A customer appreciated a tree-saving approach rather than a recommendation to remove healthy trees. Ben was also willing to just get one customer's tree down and leave the rest to them. In 2025, a customer said they removed a seventy-foot spruce and two smaller trees and trimmed and pruned several others. A 2025 customer wrote that they had used Ben for many years at their home and offices in Montpelier, including removing trees and branches after storm damage.
