Trees Are Us

Trees Are Us describes itself on its website as one of the area's few full-service, family-owned tree care companies, and says quality and personalized attention have been its standard since 1988. The site lists a service area of Allenstown, Alton, Auburn, Barrington, Belmont, Bow, Concord, Deerfield, Dunbarton, Goffstown, Henniker, Hooksett, Hopkinton, Laconia and Manchester, and offers free estimates. It holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau and shows 4.9 stars from 69 ratings on HomeAdvisor. In a 2022 HomeAdvisor review, Shawn and his crew trimmed several trees around the reviewer's house and removed two entirely; the reviewer called the billing prompt and accurate and said he left the place as clean as it was when he arrived. In a 2016 review, Shawn called within an hour of a HomeAdvisor request and came out the same day to quote; 4 trees (2 spruce, maple and oak) that were very close to the home and power lines were removed and the stumps ground, with the hardwood left for the reviewer and the rest cleared away. In a 2014 review, Shawn removed 15 large oak trees from a yard, was very careful around the house and wires, removed the stumps and cleaned up the area. In a separate 2014 review, Shawn came over the day after being contacted to quote a piece of tree leaning over the house wires after a chunk came down in a storm, took down basically the whole tree the next morning and came back that evening to start cleanup. A 2015 review says the trees were taken down in a safe manner with minimal impact to the lawn, and that the price was lower than other quotes and did not change. In a 2014 review, work was scheduled a month after hiring, which that reviewer called well worth the wait. A 2021 review says the business was first booked until the end of April but had an opening a week later.
