Tun Painting, LLC

Popcorn ceilings come up in five of Tun Painting's reviews from 2020 to 2026, and the detail is in how the crew contains the mess. In a November 2024 Google review, a customer said Oscar and his crew removed popcorn ceilings in 4 rooms, closed off the area to minimize dust, cleaned up each day and finished in the time he predicted, then moved furniture back and rehung lights and rods. A December 2020 Angi review describes popcorn removal, skim coat and painting of a kitchen in 3 days per the estimate, with appliances and cabinets covered in plastic so the family could use the kitchen each night. The Torrington, CT company says it has been in business 11 years. The work goes past paint. A January 2023 review names Oscar as the owner and says the crew built wainscoting and a kitchen island, repaired drywall and painted the cabinets in a condo. In a July 2026 review, a homeowner said Oscar did major rot repair, rebuilt part of a gable and replaced cedar shingles before painting. A May 2022 Angi review describes an old cape power washed, its shakes sanded down, wood damage repaired and the whole exterior primed and painted. A February 2026 customer who had used Tun twice for outside painting said the crew had just finished the inside. Google shows 5 stars from 59 ratings, and HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 5.0 from 34. The company's Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0657170, is active. Its BBB grade is A+. Its site says it is insured and offers free estimates.
