Twin Pines Landscaping is the landscaping arm of the Twin Pines Family of Companies, working out of 30 Southville Road in Southborough and covering MetroWest from Concord down to Franklin and from Worcester across to Newton. The company describes itself as family owned and operated, led by co-owner Chris Hopkins. Turf Magazine, writing in 2015, reported that brothers Chris and Andy Hopkins had been growing the business since 1991, offering landscape installation, construction and snow removal. A 2021 piece about Andy Hopkins' other role, as a finance-company CEO, said the brothers had run Twin Pines together for fifteen years and that the business then employed over 50 people on roughly $6 million in sales. The company's own site puts the wider group's founding at 2003 and says it has invested over $1 million in equipment. The work is broad: landscape design and installation, plantings, water features and putting greens; masonry and stonework for patios, walls, walkways and outdoor fireplaces; fencing; carpentry and additions; site work and drainage; and snow removal. Sister divisions cover plumbing, electrical, and chimney and gutter work, so a landscaping job here can pull in trades the crew already has in-house. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+, though it is not BBB accredited and its file carries no reviews or complaints. No customer review record turned up on any platform, so no rating is published. One thing to sort out on a first call: the BBB lists the owner as James Hopkins while the company's own site and the trade press name Chris and Andy. Ask who will actually run your job, and — since the group operates several licensed divisions — which entity's licence and insurance the contract sits under.
