UB Painting's written history is old and short: nine Angi accounts, all from 2009 to 2011, back when the Revere company went by JGM Painting — the name its Angi profile says it operated under before. Two of those reviewers named Ubi Barbosa and dealt with him directly. What those customers described is painting with the awkward parts included. A 2011 reviewer called the work dependable but said it came out expensive figured at an hourly rate, and the Angi profile notes a second customer who found the work a little pricey. Pulling the other way, a 2011 customer wrote that he didn't add charges after finding more painting on the roof than his walk-through had turned up. Two pieces of paperwork are worth a question. The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office registry verified the company's Minority Business Enterprise certification, number 20230267, as active in August 2026, with a listed expiry of 2026-09-14. And the company's Angi listing runs under UB Painting & Renovations, Inc. while the older accounts were written for JGM Painting, so check which name goes on your contract. For interior or exterior painting around Revere — and the listing adds carpentry, deck builds and repairs, and post-construction cleanup, with Spanish spoken — ask for a fixed written quote rather than an hourly rate, and confirm who is doing the work today.
