Van Aken Landscaping describes routine lawn maintenance, custom landscape installation and snow removal on its website, and names a service area running from Sanford and Alfred to the coast at Kennebunkport, York, Kittery and Portsmouth. It holds five stars from three Google ratings. A recent customer in Springvale, Maine needed steps, a walkway and retaining and landscaping rocks at their home. That customer said Bob and Noelle walked them through multiple options, gave a reasonable quote with expectations for when work would start and how long it would take, showed up on time and finished in the time frame they stated. A recent reviewer wrote of next-day service and lawn care. A 2025 customer said the team installed a few new garden beds and mulch with a clean cut edge, and always let them know when they were arriving, when they were on the property and how long they would be there. That 2025 customer invited them back for a couple of spring projects.
Bob & and Noelle were awesome! We needed some landscaping done at our home, including some steps, walkway and retaining/landscaping rocks. They showed up when they said they would be there. The walked us through multiple options and once agreed upon, provided us with a reasonable quote as well as expectations as to when work would start, how long it would take etc. Not only did they show up on time, they completed the work in the time frame they stated. And, the work is beautiful. Both me and my wife are extremely satisfied! Christopher S Springvale, Maine
Next day service, amazing lawn care and customer service!
The Van Aken team is a pleasure to work with. They are great communicators, always prompt in letting you know when they are arriving, when they are on the property, and how long they will be there. They installed a few new garden beds and mulch with a nice clean cut edge. Did a good job, so I’ve invited them back for a couple spring projects.
