The work is broader than the name suggests. Hardscape runs through most of it: a 2024 Thumbtack customer had a concrete walkway torn out and replaced with pavers in a couple of days, another had front stairs, two side walls and a large back patio built, and a 2024 reviewer described a paver expansion around a pool alongside yearly cleanups and lawn maintenance. Sod, hydroseeding, leaf clearing, stone walls and winter plowing fill in the rest — one 2017 customer had front and back yards cleared, leveled and hydroseeded and called the price the most competitive they got. The numbers are consistent: Angi shows 4.8 across 29 ratings with 83% at five stars, Thumbtack 5.0 across five, Porch a 5.00 average over 38 ratings, and the BBB page carries an A+ grade (not accredited). Two things are worth raising. The one real complaint on file is a 2019 Angi review rating them 2.5 stars over a sod install — that customer said browning appeared in several areas, some seams didn't meet cleanly, and they were told before hiring that the sod carried a warranty that turned out to run only 72 hours. Scheduling comes up too: a 2017 customer whose stone wall got built praised the quality but said crew came "in dribs and drabs" over weeks, and two snow-clearing customers in 2017-2018 flagged emergency pricing at $250 and $300 as steep, if understandable after back-to-back storms. The other thing to know is timing. Almost nothing has been written about this company since mid-2024, so the picture you're relying on is a few years old — worth asking who's on the crew now and how bookings are running. For paver walkways, patios, stone walls and seasonal cleanups north of Boston, the reviews line up well over a long stretch. Ask for the sod or plant warranty in writing, get the schedule committed up front, and confirm what registration and insurance they carry for anything beyond straight landscaping — one 2017 customer had them handle a garage remodel with masonry, windows and painting.
