Vermont Foam Insulation

Vermont Foam Insulation is a spray foam and insulation contractor that holds a 4.8-star Google rating from 51 ratings. A recent Google customer said the company worked around their schedule, coordinated with their roofing company and got the spray foam job done quickly, and that it helped set up a rebate through VT worth around $4,000. The company says it has been in business 20 years and lists Rutland as its service area. On its own site it lists attic, basement, crawl space, wall and retrofit insulation, insulation removal and vapor barriers. In a 2026 Google review, a customer with a 160-year-old fieldstone foundation said the basement had been damp, drafty and cold in winter and is now tight and dry. A 2025 Google customer said the company helped them apply for their efficiency rebate. A 2022 Google customer said the company insulated their crawl space and attic with the help of an Efficiency Vermont rebate, and that when they returned after vacating for 3+ days it was as if no one had been working there. In a 2023 Google review, a customer said John and Brian installed foam insulation in an old t-hangar, working around a lot of obstacles, and left the site spotless. In a 2015 HomeAdvisor review, a customer said Peter looked at the problem areas, explained that the company could do the work but it would be cost prohibitive, and gave other suggestions. A recent one-star Google review came from someone who only spoke with sales: they asked for several revisions to phase the work, and the sales manager would not proceed because the job did not meet the company's minimum, which they had not known about. Vermont lists its residential contractor registration, 174.0000142, as active, held by Vermont Foam Insulation, Inc.
