Same-day response — estimates and small repairs often done within the hour
Storm damage work — blizzard fascia fabricated on site with a bending machine
What does a roof replacement cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Vertex Exteriors. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A square is 100 sq ft of roof surface — bigger than the floor plan because of pitch and overhangs.
Photo updates — before-and-after pictures and progress photos during jobs
Daily cleanup — yard cleared each evening, debris hauled away
Clear pricing — costs explained before work and called competitive
Full roof replacements — house, shed and gutter jobs finished on schedule
Gutters and guards — installation, guards and cleaning all handled
Active state registration — Massachusetts HIC #215458 in the company's name
Post-job callback — a small leak in April 2025, fixed quickly on return
An email sent at 10 PM about a ridge cap repair came back with an answer in ten minutes and an appointment for the next day. That April 2026 review is the sharpest version of what homeowners keep describing about Vertex Exteriors: Jose and Luz pick up, and then they show up. The company works out of Uxbridge, and its site describes a family-owned, locally owned business with more than 15 years in residential construction.
The speed has a truck behind it. In April 2026 a windstorm tore loose a gutter guard and shingles, and the estimate and the repair were done within the hour, the same day as the first call. A June 2026 customer had Jose at the house within an hour for a vinyl siding fix at what they called a fair price. When the 2026 blizzard ripped aluminum fascia off a house in March, the crew arrived at the stated time with a metal bending machine and made the repairs and the aluminum fascia themselves; another blizzard customer, writing on Thumbtack that March, got an immediate reply.
The work covers the roof and everything hanging off it. Both the house and the shed roofs were replaced for a July 2026 customer, who wrote that pricing and project details were communicated up front; a November 2025 reviewer had a roof and gutter replaced by a crew that worked through the cold. Two old skylights and leaking flashing on a sunroom were handled in March 2026, attic vents in Berlin in June 2026, siding repairs in Shrewsbury that same month with the cost of replacement explained first, and a deck finished inside the promised time in August 2026.
Photographs come up a lot. A June 2025 customer was kept updated with photos through a roof job; another that month got before-and-after pictures of their gutters; a March 2026 homeowner was walked through the whole skylight job with pictures at the estimate. One customer who met the crew door to door in August 2025 wrote that they are usually skeptical of door-to-door callers and found questions answered with no pressure. And when something did go wrong — a small leak after an April 2025 job — that customer wrote it was fixed quickly.
Two practical notes before you call. The site lists a service area from Uxbridge, Milford and Hopkinton out to Newton, Concord and Sudbury, while reviewers describe jobs in Shrewsbury and Berlin, so check they come to your town. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #215458, is active in the company's name.
For storm damage, a leak, gutters or a full roof in the Blackstone Valley, this is a fast call — often the same day for a small repair. Get the allowance for damaged wood into the written estimate: a May 2025 customer had damaged plywood turn up beneath the old roof, and a June 2025 customer had damaged wood replaced as part of the job.

Jose and his team were professional, clear about the process and completed my deck within the promised time. The carpentry and attention to details were top notch. I would highly recommend.
Do not hesitate to hire Jose, Luz, and their team! The roofers who worked on our home were amazing. Communication was excellent from beginning to end, and every person on the crew worked incredibly hard. They cleaned up our yard every day before leaving and were always respectful of our home and property.
Their attention to detail really stood out. We hadn’t even thought about adding the white drip edge and flashing along the roofline, but Jose knew exactly what needed to be done. Those finishing touches not only made the roof look amazing, but also helped it function better and protect our home. While they were here, they also repaired and painted our leaking dormer, which we really appreciated.
We could not be happier with the finished roof or the experience we had with the entire team. We highly recommend them!
Vertex Exteriors did a excellent job replacing the roofs on both our house and our shed. The workmanship was exceptional and materials used were of superior quality. Pricing and project details were communicated with complete transparency from start to finish. Luz and Jose were a pleasure to work with. Reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to delivering great results.
