When we met with Mr. Vessello about our steep, curvy private road with drainage problems, he understood what we needed right from the start. He installed a drainage system and graded and paved our road and parking area. The team was friendly, efficient and skilled. The end result was over and above what we expected. This is a first review of Vessello Inc and specifically, one of the owners, Jeff. A second review will be submitted once a second project is completed. His company was doing a driveway at a neighbor's new house and was using quality 3/4 " processed gravel as a base. I bought some of the gravel he recommended that was spread by one of the equipment drivers that was onsite. I was going to roll it with a small hand roller towed behind a lawn tractor. Jeff took it upon himself to bring his company roller to my property and completely and professionally rolled about 2800 square feet of the gravel. His comment was, "I couldn't leave it that way, it needed to be rolled so it wouldn't wash away." He wouldn't take any money, he just did it because he is a professional that wants things done right. As a result of his kindness and professionalism, I have decided to have him put in an asphalt driveway. SECOND REVIEW Personnel from Vessello Inc. arrived the morning of the scheduled day to begin preparation for paving a large/long driveway. The day-long preparation included grading and installation and rolling of a layer of asphalt milling gravel mix. The second day involved installation of excellent grade of hot mix asphalt. The driveway is quite long and has a large loop. The complicated installation was handled professionally. Materials garnered from the grading process were moved and graded into a good sized parking area next to the deck. Additionally, some of the asphalt gravel mixed was left at the end of the parking area, which allowed me to grade and roll it as a transition from the main driveway. One additional bit of work was raising a large heavy stone inclined on a large stone. The driveway is of such quality, a neighbor stopped to inquire about having work done at his property. Every Vessello Inc. person from the owners to the employees was friendly, accommodating, and demonstrated a mindset of QUALITY and attention to detail. I have been considering having the driveway paved for a good many years; I am glad I waited and had Vessello Inc. perform the work. I highly recommend this company; their word is their bond.
