One customer has written about Victor Tomas, and she wrote it well. In a June 2025 review she described him arriving at her condo on the day he promised, walking room to room with a notepad working out what was needed, suggesting recessed lighting in the living room, and finishing the job with his helper without leaving a speck of plaster on the furniture or carpet. The price, she said, was reasonable. That is the entire written record for this Peabody electrician, who works out of Home Street and shows up in permit records around Peabody, Danvers, Beverly and West Newbury. Those permits skew toward small jobs — a typical value near $3,000 — with the occasional commercial fit-out, including wiring for a Danvers gelato shop and for gas pizza ovens and a hood exhaust at a Beverly pizzeria. One thing to settle before hiring. BuildZoom has flagged the profile with an alert reading "no active license on file" and shows the licence status as "Unable To Verify", stating that it could not confirm anything with the licensing board. That is the directory's failure to find a record, not a finding by the state, and directory licence data is frequently wrong in both directions — but it is a specific enough flag that it is worth resolving. Ask him for his Massachusetts electrician licence number and check it yourself with the Board of State Examiners of Electricians before any work starts. With one review on file, ask for a couple of recent references too.

Recessed ceiling lighting. Victor came to my condo on the day he promised and went from room to room with a notepad and pen, making notes as to what was needed. He suggested recessed lighting in my living room and I agreed. He and his helper did it all without a speck of plaster or anything else on my furniture or carpeting. I was truly amazed. I can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who needs electric work done. Very reasonable price also
