Electric Hero is a Charlestown/Boston electrician that has built an unusually deep, specific review record — 93 reviews since 2023, virtually all five stars, with the same names (Daniel, Rodrigo, Jhon/Jon, and Mateo) showing up again and again as the technicians on the job. The range of work described goes well beyond service calls: an August 2025 review described Daniel and Rodrigo handling BX-wire removal, a full second-floor rewire, a new sub-panel, and a 200-amp service upgrade at a home in Belmont, and a February 2025 review described Daniel upgrading an electric panel and service, replacing outdated wiring, and adding new outlets and dedicated circuits with clear communication about power-outage timing. Other reviews describe whole-house work — outlets and switches brought up to code, recessed lighting added to every room, a breaker upgraded, and new fixtures installed throughout a house — and a kitchen project that added under-cabinet lighting, matched the color temperature of the whole main living area, and swapped in a new cooktop. The company isn't only doing single residential jobs, either: a property management company hired Electric Hero to handle the electrical work for a condo association in Chelsea, calling out how well the crew coordinated across multiple unit owners, and a November 2025 review described a thorough fire-alarm assessment resolved at a reasonable price. The volume of reviews carries real weight here — Google puts the company at 5 stars from 100 ratings, and it holds an A+, accredited Better Business Bureau profile. Eleven reviews landed in just the last six months, all positive. Between the size of the jobs on record — full rewires, service upgrades, sub-panels — and the standing crew of named technicians customers keep asking for by name, this reads like an outfit that has outgrown small service calls. Worth confirming current lead times, since a shop taking on projects this size tends to book further out.
Great work and always show up
I had a wonderful experience, the technician was prompt, extremely helpful, and courteous . I was able to get a very quick appointment (within 24 hours) and everything through their automated text messaging service was a breeze including payment and invoicing. The cost was very reasonable and presented up-front. Highly recommend!
Cannot rate Jhon and Electric Hero high enough. He came today to do an assessment for installing a light fixture and I had a question about potentially also moving a socket. He helped me troubleshoot and come up with a plan for the latter, then came back a short while later and took care of my light installation in no time at all. He was knowledgeable, friendly and did an excellent job. I couldn’t be happpier with the service and will be moving forward with the socket relocation soon too. Mil gracias Jhon!
Jhon was great. He was able to run diagnostics and quickly identify the problem and fix it. Friendly and professional- would recommend to anyone
