Ask Andrew for a walkway and you may end up with a wider one. A homeowner who hired him in October 2023 wrote that he recommended widening the walk they had planned — they agreed, and the reviewer said it made a real difference to walk on. It is a habit: ten of the thirty-six written reviews describe him proposing a change to the plan. A June 2022 customer described him running PVC pipe under the walkway so lighting could be added later, and laying a small transition of asphalt to keep the pavers back from the very edge of the driveway. Walkways by Andrew lists Marshfield and Bridgewater as its service area, and its site says it has spent 25 years on walkways, patios, driveways and hardscape across Southeastern Massachusetts. The listings match that range: interlocking pavers for patios, walks and steps on HomeAdvisor, and granite steps, cobblestone, retaining wall block and small engineered retaining walls on Angi. The jobs people describe are not all front walks. A December 2022 review covers a 20-by-40-foot patio; an October 2020 customer got a walkway plus a round patio with a fire pit; a July 2019 homeowner in a new development wrote about a patio, fire pit and seating wall, and said Andrew came back for touch-ups while the land was still settling. The other thing customers keep writing down is the clock — a June 2019 Angi reviewer called the crew punctual, on time every morning, and thorough about cleaning up at the end of each day. One account cuts the other way, and it is old. In April 2008 an Angi reviewer said the walkway started to fall apart and sink into the ground within three months of the work. Andrew came out, agreed it needed improving and said he would return; the customer wrote that they then waited about a month. The written accounts run from 2008 through 2023, with HomeAdvisor averaging 4.9 across 41 ratings and Angi 4.8 across 11. If you want a paver walk, patio or fire-pit sitting area and you would rather the contractor push back on your layout than build it silently, this is that kind of hire. Get the base prep and how settling is handled written into the quote before the pavers go down, and ask what he does about a callback if something shifts in the first season.
Andrew did a nice job installing our new walkway with Pavers. He recommended widening the walkway which we agreed to and it made a big difference walking on the walkway.
Absolutely amazing. Came on time. Finished very quickly. Work was stupendous. I would absolutely hire him again.
Amazing job. Very professional. Fast and amazing quality of work. Will definitely use him again.
Probably about the best contractor that has done work on my property.
Andrew was prompt and explained his process thoroughly. And the best part is my walkways look amazing.
