Matt installed a new patio in our backyard with pavers, stairs, and retaining wall. Not only did he do a phenomenal job, he was a true pleasure for a homeowner to deal with. He is courteous, responsive, and has great ideas. He involved us in every step of the project to make sure we were happy. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend him.

The 100-year-old concrete patio surrounding our in-ground swimming pool was badly in need of rebuilding. Matt Couto and his team took on the challenge and we are delighted with the beautiful result. This was a difficult hillside work environment, with difficult access to the work site, granite ledge to work around, need for safe demolition not damaging pool underground pipes, a large old-growth tree root, the tall aging retaining wall on the down-slope side. On most days Matt was onsite leading and participating in the work with his team. Otherwise when questions arose, he was easily accessible by phone and would quickly appear on site to clarify a design detail or recommend a solution to any unexpected challenge. Matt takes justifiable pride in having very high standards for the quality of his work. Matt and his team started the job when had been promised and completed the extensive work close to the original time estimate. The original scoped work was done for the originally contracted cost.

We have been working with Matt and his team for the last couple of years. He is doing our landscaping during the spring- summer- fall and cleaning our driveway during the winter. He is doing an excellent job with our yard and also had done some stone work for us that is remarkable. He has a good sense of what needs to be done and cares. Talking about winter- when living in Massachusetts and having a demanding job- it is really important to not worry and trust that your driveway will be shoveled by the time you need to go to work. Matt and his team has never disappointed us - on the contrary- at times when we did not think he was able to come- he still did it! We are really grateful to have Matt and his team working for us.
