WASHX does the jobs that end with something level on a wall: picture frames, mirrors, TVs, shelves, curtain rods, plus flat-pack furniture assembled for homes and offices. It works out of Brockton, through its own booking site and through TaskRabbit. The origin story is unusual and the company tells it plainly — a 2019 college coursework idea for a laundry-delivery business, registered with the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the city of Brockton, that turned into home improvement after the pandemic emptied the campuses. BBB has it as a sole proprietorship with two employees, started at the beginning of 2020, owner Kis Lauquence. The credential checks out where it can be checked: Massachusetts lists home improvement contractor registration 203338 as active, held by Kis Lauquence, and BBB shows the same number. The company separately says it is MBE certified with the state's Supplier Diversity Office and with the City of Boston — its own claim, and one a prime contractor should confirm directly with the SDO before relying on it for a diversity spend requirement. What is missing is customers. No reviews turned up on any platform, so no rating is published here. The company says it has completed more than 300 projects between its site and TaskRabbit; if you are hiring, ask to see its TaskRabbit rating, which is where that history would live.
