All eight Google ratings are five stars, written between 2023 and 2025. The jobs people describe are yard work: a front walkway with backyard edging in an October 2025 review (on time, priced well, results the customer was happy with), a sprinkler installation in 2024 that finished on schedule and came in right on the quote, ongoing lawn and irrigation care. Reviewers keep using the same words — punctual, responsive, fair prices. One 2023 five-star review reads differently from its rating: the writer says they deliberately chose three stars and describes a fence Mainor Zepeda built in the winter of 2021, so the headline and the written account do not match. Two matters are worth knowing before calling. Violation Tracker lists a May 2020 Massachusetts Attorney General agency action against Watch City Construction for a wage-and-hour violation with a $5,561 penalty, and court-opinion sites carry Andres Hidalgo v. Watch City Construction Corp., a Wage Act suit brought by an employee against the company and Mainor Ariel Zepeda; the pages in hand do not state how the court case was resolved. Separately, the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (151219) is expired on the state registry. For lawn care, irrigation and walkway or planting-bed work, the people who have used him for years are the strongest recommendation here. For anything that counts as home improvement — a fence, an addition, structural construction — ask about the registration status first, since an expired registration matters for the state's guaranty fund.
