In another 2025 review, a customer said Wayne installed a new roof, siding and 22 windows for them in 2018 and built a 600 sq ft addition two years later. In a 2025 review, a customer who hired Wayne to add a room and a deck said a dumpster and porta-potty sat on their front yard for the three-month project, a sewer pipe was broken while excavating and they were charged for the repair, and the deck was subbed out, with a stair gate that will not close properly. That customer also said they love the new room and deck. In another 2025 review, a customer said a relative Wayne sent put in an air conditioner that does not work, and that Wayne did not call back as promised.
Called and asked for a quote on siding our home , received a call same day with an eta on getting the estimate together ! Came that week with the installer and had the estimate two days later . We decided to add some work to the existing porch and again he was spot on with getting back to us . My Wife and I have used Wayne before and his dedication to his trade shows in the quality of work we have received from him and his team ! Highly recommend for you will not be disappointed , support local
Wayne is the worst contractor we have dealt with. He will not communicate with you once you hire him. If we asked him any questions he behaved rude and acted so crazy. We never knew what was happening next. He does not finish what he starts. When he says he has a guy that can do a project it will be a nonprofessional usually a relative like his nephew who put in our 5000 air conditioner that does not work. He does not stand behind his work. We called him told him what was happening and he said he would call us back in 10 minutes. That was 2 days ago! You do not want him. He has no sense of responsibility or commitment.
Wayne built an in-law for us. It came out beautiful! Wayne and his crew and all his subcontractors were great to work with. Wayne was very responsive and easy to work with. Made the whole process less stressful for us.
Wayne Fritze was highly recommended to us by our neighbors who used his services for various projects in both their home and vacation property. To say we are pleased with his work is an understatement. We contracted with Wayne to install a new roof, siding and replace 22 windows in 2018. Two years later Wayne constructed a 600 sq ft addition to our house. Everyone Wayne brought into our home was hard working and very respectful. We highly recommend Wayne Fritze for any construction needs.
Wayne was hired to add a room and a deck to our home. It started poorly and only got worse. First, we were going on vacation at the start of the project, but Wayne insisted we give him a key. He promised us no one but him would enter the home, and even then only if there was a blown circuit breaker that needed to be reset. I told him my mother is a quarter of a mile away and could get here most days very quickly, but he wanted a key with that stipulation. We got back from vacation two weeks later to find someone had used our toilet and did not flush. When I asked him about it, he shrugged it off saying it was one of his guys. Also, while we had been gone a very large dumpster was delivered and placed on our front yard. He assured us it would only be there a week then another one would be brought and placed in our driveway, which is big enough for four cars. The dumpster remained on our front lawn for the entirety of the three month project. We also had on our front yard a porta-potty for the entire three months. There was plenty of room to place these objects elsewhere. The grass under both of these objects still hasn't grown back a year and a half later. Then while excavating, they hit our sewer line breaking a pipe. Accidents do happen, but "You probably would have had to replace it anyway" was what we were told when he charged us for repairs. The room went up pretty well. Some of the things he told he was going to do were refuted by sub-contractors, but overall we were happy with the rough product. His guys did break a tile in our kitchen removing a door. He had a friend of his come over to fix it. His friend told us the tile was clearly broken by Wayne's guys and there would be no charge. Yup, we were charged by Wayne. Then came the deck. Wayne did not build it with his guys, instead he subbed it out to a group of young guys. He stopped over once or twice per week, but had little to do with, or interest in, the progress. The deck has many pieces that clearly don't fit properly. The gate to the stairs of the deck is unusable because it will not close properly. Wayne has never seen the deck completed. Meanwhile, he sent over a painter to paint the inside of our new room. The painting was sloppy at best. Finally, when he sold us on the project he told us our lawn would be restored as it was before he started. According to one landscaper with whom we have spoken, the cheapest possible grass had been planted and may never look right. Overall, we love our new room and deck. It is just disappointing to spend well over $100,000 with a contractor who has NEVER BOTHERED TO SEE THE FINISHED PRODUCT. When his subs had finished their work, we paid for everything in full because my wife had known Wayne for many years. We assumed he would be by for a punch list. We have never heard from him since. I would not advise hiring Wayne Fritze Carpentry. His electrical and plumbing subcontractors were great, but overall the rest of his work was subpar. We spent a lot of money, at least for us, and came away disappointed.
