Foundation cracks and wet basements are the work here. We Fix Cracks describes itself as doing foundation crack repair, basement waterproofing and structural restoration across Fairfield County CT and Westchester County NY, and says it has been in business 24 years. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 33 ratings. A recent customer said their lower level had produced water in multiple spots for 12 years. Outside, Raf repaired cracks in the foundation walls and footer that went down to the bottom of the footer, and all that digging was done by hand around large rocks. The wall and footer facing the garage could not be reached from outside, so that customer said the repairs and waterproofing were done from the inside, and long cracks across the basement floor were repaired as well. That customer said there wasn't a drop of water in the basement after several rains. At a condo, a recent customer said the basement was waterproofed with everything in the room taped off and air scrubbers running to contain dust, and that heavy rain a few days later brought no water. A customer with a 100+ year-old stone foundation said the cracks were filled, the stone walls sealed and exterior protection set up against water. At one garage, a customer said Raf fixed the cracked foundation and a broken underground drainage system and added a 2-ft cement footer that was missing. A customer dealing with water and degraded cinder blocks said a few other cracks were marked for monitoring, and one small issue was corrected at no additional cost. In a 2025 review, a customer described a drill-through of a stone foundation reinforced by a concrete wall, over 24 inches thick, drilled and sealed with no leaks. A 2025 customer whose basement flooded after heavy rainfall said Raf provided a disinfectant treatment while they waited for his full evaluation. A 2025 caller asking for a crack-repair price said they were told they lived too far away, even though the website lists Fairfield County and they live there, and that the job was too small without the details being heard. That caller described the phone call as very rude. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0700864, as active, held by WE FIX CRACKS LLC.
We Fix Cracks LLC did an excellent job waterproofing our condo basement. Their work was thorough, clean, and completed on time. They took great care to protect the space by taping off everything in the room and using air scrubbers to keep the dust and debris contained. A few days after the repair, we had extremely heavy rain—the kind that had caused serious flooding in the past. We were relieved to find that the repairs worked perfectly and we had no water issues at all. After dealing with this problem for several years, it was a huge relief. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend We Fix Cracks to anyone needing waterproofing or foundation repairs. The owner, Ralph, is honest and trustworthy.
Raf and his team are AMAZING!! He is extremely knowledgeable about leaks and waterproofing; he fixed the cracked foundation and broken drainage system underground in and around my garage. He also added an 2-ft underground cement footer that was missing, and no more leaks! I couldn’t be happier with his responsiveness and high level of service. His team is dedicated and hardworking. Raf is the best at what he does and I have 100% confidence in his recommendations. He truly cares and you don’t find this kind of work ethic and service often! Happy customer and highly recommend!
It was an absolute pleasure working with Raf of We Fix Cracks. He and his team did an amazing job repairing and waterproofing the lower level in my house. This is a house that has produced water, in multiple spots, since I bought it, for the last 12 years. Raf first came by to inspect the job and provide a quote. I don’t think there is anybody more knowledgeable of foundations, footers, and foundation wall repair than him. Raf explained everything to me in detail and pointed out major issues I had, in multiple locations, inside and out, that needed to be addressed. Raf explained issues with my foundation walls and footer that no one was able to identify. Raf inspected everything inside and out, answered all my questions, and put a tentative plan in place for the repair work. The repair work was very, very difficult. Outside, Raf had to repair cracks in the foundation walls and footer, in multiple locations, that went right down to the bottom of the footer; he repaired, reinforced and waterproofed the footer and the foundation wall. All that digging was done by hand and they had to deal with many huge rocks that had to be removed. Inside, the foundation walls also had to be repaired in multiple spots. My mechanical room was very difficult. Raf had to repair and waterproof the wall and footer that faces the garage; this was a room that produced water every time it rained. This was also very difficult as that wall is not accessible from the outside at all, all the repairs and waterproofing had to be done from the inside, and he did an amazing job. Raf also repaired, waterproofed and reinforced several long cracks that ran both North and South, East and West, across my basement floor. Raf kept me updated on every phase of the repair, texting and sending me pics and explaining everything that was done; Raf and his crew also worked very neatly. I am very happy to say that for the first time since I own this house there isn’t a drop of water in my basement, and it rained several times these past few weeks. I can now reinstall the sheetrock and insulation that I had to tear down three times, and I can now put a real floor down as well. Raf made my lower level livable again. Obviously I’m very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of Raf at We Fix Cracks. I will be recommending him to my Sister to address her basement. Great Job Raf, I cannot Thank You Enough!!! Richard
I couldn't be happier with the masonry work done by We Fix Cracks! I have a 100+ year-old home with an old stone foundation that had developed several cracks and was showing its age. The team came in, expertly filled all the cracks, and completely sealed the stone walls. They also set up proper exterior protection to ensure no water intrusion down the line. The transformation is unbelievable—the before and after difference speaks for itself. The space looks dramatically cleaner, structural integrity is restored, and I have complete peace of mind knowing the foundation is protected. Professional, thorough, and highly skilled with historic stone foundations. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience working with Raf on a very serious leak situation. He was prompt, organized, and fair with us throughout the entire experience. Further, his commitment didn’t stop once his repairs were complete and he followed up with us several times afterwards. I highly recommend him!
