A baby grand piano, a move to Florida and furniture that needed reassembly are among the jobs customers have described hiring Welch’s Cape Moves to handle. The Mashpee business says it offers residential and commercial moving, packing, long-distance moves and piano moving. Its stated service area includes Cape Cod communities as well as Wareham and Plymouth, and its owner says he works alongside the crew. Two August 2026 Google reviewers praised punctual arrivals. One said Brian and his team handled the items carefully and charged a reasonable price. The other described a prompt response to the initial inquiry and two movers who worked hard to place everything where the customer wanted it. Google reports a five-star average from 62 ratings; Angi reports 4.9 stars from 75 ratings. In a March 2026 review, a customer described a Massachusetts-to-Florida move. They said Brian accommodated their timeline, helped pack important items carefully, picked up their belongings after a blizzard and delivered when promised. Another March 2026 reviewer reported a trouble-free move of a baby grand piano and a couch. A February 2026 customer said Brian and his team moved their belongings without incident despite snow and ice, then helped reassemble complicated furniture. Closing delays complicated a move described in November 2025. That customer said Brian accommodated an extra night of storage on the truck and another delay before unloading, keeping the process calm and organized. An August 2025 reviewer credited the team with disassembling and reassembling furniture during a move into their new home and praised Brian’s communication. Older accounts include a December 2024 move from a family home to assisted living. That reviewer said the crew took extra care with old family antiques and coordinated with the assisted living staff. In a June 2022 review, a customer who moved from Cape Cod to Burlington said the job took less time than quoted and Brian reduced the price accordingly. An Angi reviewer writing in November 2022 gave two stars and warned against hiring the company if an elderly customer could not finish packing on time.
Brian and his team were excellent. Friendly, professional, and hard working. They were punctual and were very careful with the items moved. Price was very reasonable. I highly recommend.
Welch’s was fantastic! Responded very promptly to my initial inquiry. Moving day went very smoothly. They showed up on time and worked hard. The two men who did the move were very pleasant, good-natured, and positive. They were invested in doing a good job and getting everything where I wanted it. I recommend without reservations.
I have hired a few movers in my lifetime but none of them compare to Welch's. I hired them to move a baby grand piano and a couch. They were great. From the initial call to the final install, there were no problems. Do yourself a favor and look no further.
Welch's Cape Moves is amazing! Brian was excellent at helping me move from Massachusetts to Florida. Worked with my timeline, assisted with packing important items with care, picked up my belongings as my area was socked in post blizzard of 2026, delivered exactly when he said he would. You get what you pay for, and this was a win!
Brian and his team were professionals from start to finish. Not only did they move our goods safely, securely and without incident, despite snowy / icy conditions - they helped us to re-assemble some of the more complicated pieces of furniture, saving us a lot of time and headaches. We will be using them again for our next upcoming mini-move!
