Wendell Anderson is a Brockton electrician whose customers have been writing about him since 2008, and the job they describe in the most detail is old-house electrical work. In a December 2010 HomeAdvisor review, a homeowner with a house of almost 100 years described a full electrical service upgrade — "moved from fuses to switches and up'd service to 200 amps" — with unexpected findings along the way, finished within a reasonable budget, followed by several more projects in the same house. His Massachusetts electrician licence, 11599-EL-B, is active, with Wendell Anderson as holder of record. HomeAdvisor shows 4.6 stars from 40 ratings, and Angi shows 4.6 from 40. The written reviews run from 2008 to 2024, and all but three are dated 2019 or earlier. The praise in them is specific: showing up on time, cleaning up afterward, and estimates that held. A 2019 reviewer said he did the work "for the price he quoted me originally"; another that year said he "stuck to his numbers." A 2013 homeowner noted he covered his shoes to protect hardwood floors. In a 2008 Angi review, a customer who had already paid another electrician without a fix said Wendell found two separate problems — underground wiring outside the house and two outlets wired to the same circuit — behind lights that dimmed and surged. A June 2018 review mentions his son JT working alongside him, and a February 2024 review says he and his assistant arrived on time, did the job right and cleaned up. Three accounts go the other way. In August 2024, a HomeAdvisor reviewer gave half a star and accused him of code violations and "FRAUDULENT, NEGLIGENT, DEFECTIVE and DANGEROUS work," saying they had hired a legal team and forensic experts. An August 2018 HomeAdvisor review says he "took my money and did not complete the work and left wires hanging" and did not call back. And a 2010 Angi customer, happy with the finished work, said he was late every day of the project, left his apprentice alone at the house for two hours, and that his pricing was "somewhat all over the place."
If you want someone who knowingly and WILLFULLY VIOLATES multiple Massachusetts General Laws, VIOLATES Electric Codes, commits CRIMINAL activity and provides FRAUDULENT, NEGLIGENT, DEFECTIVE and DANGEROUS work, then hire Wendell Anderson. I hired a Construction Legal Team, Construction Forensic Experts and Electricians for the legal LIABILITIES and INCOMPETENCE of Wendell Anderson. See attached, Anderson knowingly committed FRAUD and these VIOLATIONS against Massachusetts Consumers, which will now cost Anderson thousands in DAMAGE and LEGAL EXPENSES. . I recommend you hire legal counsel and construction experts prior to hiring Andersonâ ¦or simply save yourself and just hire a qualified, competent and law abiding Electrician to complete the job properly the first time. Read attached legal matter BEFORE hiring Anderson.

Mr.Anderson and his assistant showed up on time, didn't take all day to complete their work and most importantly did the job right. Mr. Anderson cleaned up his work space before leaving and took the time to make sure I was satisfied and that my electrical service was working properly. I highly recommend Wendell Anderson and will be hiring him again for another project!
Wendell did what he said he would do, for the price he quoted me originally. Was easy to work with, and came at times that were good for my schedule. Will definitely hire again!
