During the process of selling our house, we found out VERY LATE in the game that we needed to complete a smoke alarm inspection before sale and we were on a VERY SHORT time crunch. We reached out to several electricians in the area all of whom quoted us an arm and a leg just to walk in the door, and additional fees if anything needs repair. During one of our Home Depot trips we stumbled across an electrician’s truck (Wilbur) and we called the number. Wilbur came outside and greeted us with a smile and a handshake, very professionally. He showed up that same night. He put forth EXTRA work for us by re-wiring into my hallway that didn’t have power to it, determined to get the job done so we could get a clean certificate. Some contractors worked into our walls a few years back and forgot to connect wires for the smoke alarms, which in turn caused chirping issues and what seemed to be an impossible and EXPENSIVE task to fix….or so we thought. Wilbur was able to find the problem and fix this for us in a VERY short time, talking us through every step. Upon Wilbur finishing everything in our house, I was expecting a hefty electrician’s bill because of the time and EFFORT he put forth. When he told me a price, I was shocked at how Humble Wilbur is.
