WildWood Properties is a Windham landscaping company whose website says it treats its work "as high art: beautiful, timeless, expressive." Its BBB grade is A+. A 2025 customer said the company put in a paver patio behind their villa/condo, followed several special requests and custom options exactly as asked, and did the job at a reasonable price in a timely fashion. A 2025 customer at the Cottages at Windswept in Gorham, a 55-plus community whose HOA board hired Wildwood for plowing, said they had to ask the drivers and email Rick, the owner, after every storm not to put snow on the side of the house. In an update to that 2025 review, the customer wrote that water poured into the basement through the low window and that Wildwood gave no apology. A 2025 customer from another 55-plus community said so much salt was put down that dogs could not walk on it, and that handicap spots were not cleaned for 3 days. In a later 2025 update, that customer wrote that the company threw down too much salt instead of scraping. A 2026 reviewer said a WildWood truck driver nearly sideswiped them while merging and then flipped them off. A 2025 reviewer complained of driving through a private-road neighborhood at higher than safe speed with a full load of dirt.

I was driving on a 2 lane road and a willwood properties truck was in the other lane next to me. Their lane was a merging lane and the driver decided to almost sideswipe me to try and get in front of me. He then decided to flip me off and scream at me behind his windshield. Really mature and professional.
Wildwood put in a paver patio behind my villa/condo. I had several special requests and custom options and they managed to follow all my requests exactly as I asked. The patio and surrounding landscaping came out perfect. It is a first rate job, reasonable price, done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this company for patio installs.
They left a 55+ community with many disabled people disgusting. Made their " swipe" thru and put down so much salt our dogs couldn't walk on it even though it is pet safe. Use too much still can burn. The pictures are of handicap spots that were not cleaned for 3 days until another resident went and did it. Update dec 2025. Same shit different day. They just throw so much salt down instead of scraping stuff. Only way snow removal gets done right ia if we do it ourselves. And if you look at the pictures that is the amount of salt put down. No reason for it.
Driving through private road neighborhood at higher than safe, normal or resonably acceptable speed with a full load of dirt.
My husband and I purchased a new home at the Cottages at Windswept in Gorham. It’s a 55 plus community and we were looking for a place we could age in place (I am a 2 year breast cancer survivor). The HOA board hired Wildwood for plowing. Every storm my husband and I have had to speak to the drivers and email Rick the owner to explain not to put snow on the side of the house as the property sits much lower than the road and the basement window is ground level. We explained continuously that we are trying to prevent flooding through the window come Spring. Prior to this last storm the board informed us we are not allowed to talk to the vendor. The day after the storm,Wildwood came to do clean up. They buried our side yard while we watched helpless. The snow they buried us with was not even from our association, it was from the condos out back (Winding Ridge). This was pure retaliation as the employee looked at us continuously and just smirked. If it was within my power, I would fire Wildwood. In our opinion, they are just plain cruel and do not care about the property or the owner Update 3/7/25: Thought I would post this video so you could all see how it played out. Yesterday morning 6:30 AM we woke up to water pouring into the basement through the low lying window. So thankful we had a sump pump. My husband went out and set it up next to the window to pump water away from the house (he had already previously removed snow from against the house for drainage). I grabbed the wet vacuum and spent a couple of hours vacuuming the water, transferring it to 5 gallon buckets so we could lug it upstairs. Sent the video to Wildwood. No apology and no commitment to not use the side of our home as a snow dump. (Sorry wouldn’t let me add video so had to settle for photos)
