The licensing picture needs a direct question. BuildZoom prints the same construction supervisor number, CS-061639, twice on one page — once as verified active as of July 2026, and once as inactive, with the Department of Public Safety having at one point cancelled it. A directory contradicting itself is not proof of a problem, but it is a reason to ask him for the licence number and check it yourself with the Department of Public Safety before any structural work is scheduled. If you have a historic-district renovation or a high-end condo gut in mind, the permit history at least shows someone who has taken those jobs through inspection repeatedly. Go in expecting to do your own reference work: ask for recent homeowners you can call, and settle the licence question first.
