Williams Construction and Roofing pitches roofing, exterior and remodeling work on its website, where it claims more than 40 years of industry experience and lists Bangor, Orono, Hampden, Waterville and Brewer as its service area. On its BBB profile the company describes itself as a residential, commercial and industrial roofer that also handles seamless aluminum gutters, plowing and roof shoveling. A recent Google reviewer called the work fast and efficient and said they would recommend the company. A 2024 Google reviewer recommended the company too and said Kim made the process easy. A 2025 Google reviewer said the roof leaks and there is now interior damage, and that another roofing company they brought in could not believe the shoddy installation. That 2025 reviewer also said the callback came only after they reached out to the Better Business Bureau, with an offer to do the repairs if they took down the post. A 2024 Google reviewer said the company switched the power out of their name when the job was actually at a neighbor's house across the street, and that the crew brought a German Shepherd that ran loose in their trailer park. A 2023 Google reviewer said the crew worked quickly and cleaned up, but that a trim piece to match the trim color had still not been replaced over a month later and calls went unreturned. On Google the company holds 3.3 stars from 6 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. In a 2026 Reddit thread, a homeowner comparing roof estimates said the company quoted 24,000 for shingles.
“The 3rd place Williams construction and roofing company quoted 24,000 for s”
Great work. Fast and efficient. Would recommend
Terrible...their so called "answering service" made excuses for Jerods where abouts everytime I called...He.only got back to me after I reached out to Better Buisness and they did not endorse the company on line.... He called and said he would do the repairs if I took down the post.Roof leaks and now there is interior damage. I am a senior and feel taken advantage of .I had another roofing company come for their opinion and they could not believe the shoddy installation.
Horrible customer service lady on the phone was rude and they never called me back after switching our power out of our name and into theirs and they weren't even working on our house it was our neighbor across the street they got the address wrong had to spend all day on the phone with the power company to put it back in our name. The crew also brought a German Shepard with them that was running loose in our trailer park the whole time which was super inconvenient because we have 3 dogs of our own that needed to go out and couldn't because we didn't know how they would react to each other. After calling the office the workers proceeded to park close to our driveway the rest of the week almost blocking us in
Would definitely recommend this company. Everyone was great to work with, especially Kim, she made the process easy and was very friendly.
Their crew worked quickly and cleaned up all the mess that roofing leaves. They sent a non-english speaking crew without an interpreter so i was unable to communicate with them. And didnt let me know that would be the case. The work was not completed. I was told they had to order a trim piece to match my trim color. Over a month later that hasn't been replaced. Now they don't return my calls.
