They were good, until they weren't. What a shame.

I want to note upfront that we have been long-time customers and have always received excellent customer service from the office staff and the technicians at Williams Oil. They have consistently been professional, courteous, and helpful. This review reflects solely my interaction with the owner, Chris. I’m disappointed by a follow‑up phone conversation I had with the owner, Chris. During the call, he repeatedly spoke over me and raised his voice to the point where I could not get a word in. He kept instructing me, in a loud and condescending tone, that my husband needed to call to make an appointment, and would not listen to anything I was trying to explain. When I finally asked if there was a problem, he allowed me to explain the situation, which he was already familiar with, yet continued to speak down to me and again insisted that my husband should handle the call. Despite my being polite and professional throughout, I was treated as though I had no business calling myself. The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily gendered, and I was very uncomfortable with the overall tone of the conversation. As a result of this experience, I will be pulling all of our business from this company.

Unbelievably rude and disrespectful, I have never felt so belittled in my life, and in my own home mind you what a shame.

One of the girls that answers the phone is unbelievably disrespectful and rude and also acted cowardly because she refused to give her name to account for her despicable behavior. She answers the phone yet tries to give people advice about their heating - really????!!!! Umm are you licensed with the state of CT to do that? Then she hung up when she was redirected as she rightfully should have been. Used them for years and never encountered this. The techs have been awesome which was why my wife and I called back. I hope they don't not let unprofessional people answering the phone damage their reputation. Whoever you are little girl, try going to school and actually becoming a tech before giving people advice about their heating unless you don't mind finding your name in a lawsuit for pretending to be a licensed professional.
