Wisteria & Rose is a Boston landscape design/build shop that says it's been shaping gardens across Greater Boston since 2001, now working out of a Charlestown address. President Kerry Preston and General Manager Corinne Jean are both Massachusetts Certified Horticulturists, and the design team includes Lead Designer Jason Skibo; the company says it covers Boston proper plus Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Brookline, Newton and Wellesley. Two 2025 reviews describe full projects rather than one-off fixes: one calls the process — from initial design through final build — professional, creative and attentive, with results the customer calls "second to none"; another praises thoughtful design, plant choices and attention to detail on a garden that gets regular compliments. Boston Magazine's "Find It Boston" guide separately named the firm a 2014 Best of Boston Home honoree for landscape design and describes its design-build process as seamless, "from first sketch to final planting". Two things worth asking about before booking. A May 2026 review describes a discouraging sales experience — a pleasant office that went quiet on repeated pricing requests, with the reviewer ready to sign before giving up. Separately, a 2025 review calls an unnamed person "rude" and describes a near-collision on a New Hampshire highway — but the reviewer says outright they never hired the company, so it's a roadway complaint rather than a verdict on the actual landscaping work. For a full garden design-build project in the western suburbs or Boston proper, the certified-horticulturist team and the recent project reviews are the strongest signal here — just get a firm answer on pricing turnaround before committing.
