The Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ and lists it as accredited, and it holds 4.8 stars from 12 ratings on Angi and on HomeAdvisor. Its written reviews run from 2023 to 2026. The recent reviews describe decks, bathrooms and additions. In a June 2026 Angi review, a couple said John and Karin measured and quoted a remodel of their bathrooms, that the half bath was done in one day, and that the full bath was a complete gut to a walk-in shower; they said the crew laid tarps each day and removed them at the end of the day. Another June 2026 customer said John spoke straight and honestly about what needed to be done, gave a quote that was very reasonable compared to others, and finished as scheduled. An August 2026 customer was happy with a new deck, and a June 2026 reviewer said the company built an office and bathroom. In a 2024 review, a customer said John and Karin came out the day after a deck quote request, provided insurance and licences up front, documented any change in cost in clear contracts and guided them through a difficult permitting process. Other 2024 reviews describe a front deck with picture-framed steps and a sunroom. One recent review is a complaint. In June 2026, an Angi reviewer posted that, pending a dispute, they no longer recommend the business; the same review describes a garage carport and covered patio done exactly as discussed and to code, and says they were scheduling a new bathroom with the company.
We are so happy with our new deck. We had a great experience with Wood Trades LLC Roofing and Construction from beginning to end. We would definitely hire them again and will be recommending them to friends and family.
My husband, Richard, and I couldn’t be happier with our bathroom remodels! We highly recommend Woods Trades LLC. Both John & Karin visited us to measure and quote a remodel for our over 20-year-old bathrooms which were in dire need of a makeover. Our half bath was completed in one day with new toilet and vanity, our full bathroom was a complete gut to replace tub/shower unit into a spa like walk in shower, new toilet, vanity and flooring. Karin was a big part of adding her knowledge and professionalism with any of our questions and concerns. John and his team were a pleasure to work with. John listened to our needs, preferences and then provided expert guidance throughout the process. The team was extremely polite, courteous and especially their cleanliness on the job. Each day they would lay tarps and remove them at the end of the day just to do it all over again the next day. Both bathrooms only took 5 days and we are thrilled with the outcome. We have John & Karin on speed dial for our future projects and we highly recommend Karin, John and his team for any of your construction needs. 😊
Wood trades built an office and bathroom for me. John and his crew were quick, efficient and did quality work. I would highly recommend Wood Trades to anybody looking to do a renovation or construction job.
