Danny & AJ took such great care of us, they really go above and beyond and so kind! I would recommend these folks for your move all day long!
Thank you, Danny and Dylan for the amazing job that you did helping us with our move. On short notice, we had to move everything from our home at the storage because our new home was not ready yet. This was to say the least stressful but these guys made it very easy and helped relieve some of our worries. They were fast and efficient handled our belongings with care and brought everything back out from storage two weeks after they picked it up. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
The Guys from Your Family Move did an outstanding job of moving our furniture and belongings from Berwick to Wells. Everything got moved without a glitch and was done at a very timely manner. I would highly recommend!
This is a long time coming. Honestly I had all but forgot about this terrible experience until I received some kind of networking mass email from their company recently. I hired their movers roughly a year ago. They arrived to the house. The movers were kind. The owner Sarah however was a mess. Communication was awful. The movers showed up 45 minutes early, which put us in a tough spot with elderly folks in the home. The crew agreed to run and grab a coffee and come back shortly….. Well they never came back. I was dumbfounded. I called one of the movers because I had his cell as a contact and he told me Sarah instructed him to go onto the next move. She NEVER replied to me and ignored all of my calls to inquire when they were coming back. They just completely ghosted me. I spoke with her husband and while he was nice enough he did nothing to rectify the situation, just stated he would try to get in touch with Sarah. I’ve never had a company showed up to an agreed upon scheduled move, leave to grab coffee and never come back. This made an already stressful day a complete nightmare. This is honestly one of the most unprofessional companies I’ve ever worked with. Pay attention to how companies handle mistakes and conflict, it is a true test of value, character, and professionalism.
I had hoped to leave a glowing review after two successful moves with my mother's belongings and mine over the years, but these last two moves at the end of 2025 were problematic. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but since moving is so stressful and expensive, I think that potential customers need to understand the risks so they can advocate for themselves. For a move last fall, they took a very long time to call me back, saying their internet had been down (and there indeed had been a storm). Everything seemed okay, but then they never showed up on the scheduled day of one move. I wrote it off as "these things happen," but then the next move, from Maine to Vermont, they did not show up on the agreed-upon delivery day. It started to feel like maybe there are communication challenges. Also, when the movers arrived, my cost nearly doubled, and I am still not sure why, since I had sold the sleeper sofa and chaise lounge that had been in the original estimate. Also, they rented a Penske so they didn't have to stop at a station to weigh the move, which again made me wonder how they reached such a higher price than the estimate. They also left me with 40 boxes to unpack on my own, when I had paid for a full pack and unpack. Worst of all, in my mind, the movers damaged a few of my belongings, and have yet to respond after two attempts to contact them in the last six weeks with the attached pictures. They snapped a foot off of an exercise stand (they could have unscrewed the feet), scraped the finish off of a brass-toned lamp that is out of stock, lost (or broke and trashed) the bottom to a family refrigerator dish, and scraped the finish off a hand-painted unique umbrella stand. That's just a few of the items, and many would have been protected had they wrapped these items in blankets. They're nice people and fine if you're not on a timeline or a budget (and maybe I am the exception to the rule), but be wise in your dealings. The lack of communication, not showing up on agreed-upon dates not once but twice, the greatly increased cost, and damaged items with no response have left a bad taste in my mouth.
