Calling All Cargo Moving & Storage

I was so happy with Calling all Cargo when i used them to move me a few years ago. This time was another story- and one of overcharging/exploiting my 81 year old mom and her STUDIO apt. How do I know this: my move from a 1 bedroom apt took equal or less time, yet she was charged 3x my moving fee. The manager wasn't managerial and didn't help answer his crews questions. I was fielding obvious questions that the manager could've answered. The pace of the move was painfully slow (3 days for 2 places much smaller than a house - what is that about?) with a crew that didn't have moving expertise. My old hallway now has gouges in the hall that will come out of my security deposit. Another reason, we'll take this to insurance is that they broke 2 peices of glass in a 3-400 year old corner cupboard. None of them owned the mistake - they all played dumb - "mustve been the guy from yesterday."" Moves are more fluid when 2--4 people do the job, not 7 or 7. They could only find one piece and I'm waiting to hear how they'll compensate. They just left without explanation of further steps. Aside from that, I asked them to take certain bag upstairs, certain bags downstairs, and I'm stuck cleaning/hoisting after their half-ass job. Overall, I'd give them a C or D. What happened to the old Calling ALL Cargo? I'm so disappointed

We had an oil boiler that had to be moved from our garage downstairs to our basement where it was going to be installed later. Calling all cargo responded right away to my inquiry for help, and squeezed us in to the middle of a day when they were already very busy. The crew that came was extremely pleasant, courteous, thoughtful, In assessing the task. They took their time in working out the details, and when it came time to move the 650 pound boiler, they were ready! Prior to moving, they put protective material in places where our home might be vulnerable, and then set about the task of getting it done. It took all four of them to manage the beast, but they did a fantastic job! Couldn’t have asked for anything more My one regret was the price, however. I may be out of touch with moving costs these days so my regret may be unfounded, but I was surprised by the bottom Line. Given the emergency nature of our situation (having no hot water or heat for a week), I was still happy to pay. This is a good business, and its owner, Mike, was terrific.

The Calling All Cargo crew was amazing. You can tell they are trained well in their methods. Very organized. Super hard working as well. If you want your things moved and not have to worry about anything breaking or getting dinged up, they are definitely your go to moving company!!!

They moved all our stuff into the garage while we got new flooring. Excellent crew and good work. Definitely recommend.
