A 2023 customer who asked about cutting down a huge oak said Jose came out within a couple of hours with a quote, the tree was cut down within two days, and the big machinery left no marks on the lawn. A 2023 customer said Jose came out the day of the call and quoted clearing tree stumps, brush and trees from their back yard, with work starting the following week. A 2025 customer said Jose and crew removed a big tree from the backyard and cleaned up carefully afterward. A 2026 customer said Jose removed 40-year-old invasive trees and shrubs, roots included, and relocated a small tree in the yard. A 2026 customer said Jose was hired to remove two trees and that one fell into the yard fence, causing significant damage to the fence and surrounding property. That customer said they paid about two-thirds of the agreed amount on his promise to return and make repairs, which he never did, and that the insurance claim was denied. A 2026 customer said the company was hired for two leaf removals in the fall, did the first one and never came back to finish despite repeated phone calls. A 2024 customer said the tree work was done well, but Jose showed up on a Friday after committing to a Tuesday, and cleanup was very poor. On a later job filling a drain with soil and seeding, that 2024 customer said Jose asked for more money after the work, the soil was not compacted and no seed was added; the customer said Jose was still holding the money after saying he would give a refund.
Jose was professional, knowledgeable and experienced in removal of 40 year old invasive tree/shrubs (with roots) and in transplanting/relocating a small tree to a more appropriate location in the yard. His crew worked efficiently and with care (and despite temps being in 30s 🥶). I highly recommend for landscaping and tree/shrub pruning/removal services.
Unreliable, does not show up when scheduled, does not finish a job that was started. Was hired to do two leaf removals during the fall season. Did the first one and then never showed up again to finish despite repeated phone calls. Highly recommend to find someone else.

I paid about two-thirds of the agreed amount based on his promise to return and make the repairs, but he never did, despite months of delays. He claimed the company was insured, but the insurance claim was denied with no resolution. The issue was never fixed. He just left and never came back. I shouldn’t have paid him a penny. Based on my experience, I cannot trust what was promised or the company’s competency. I would not recommend this company.

I had Jose and crew come out to remove a big tree from my backyard, and they did an absolutely wonderful job! From start to finish, everyone was so friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. They showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was done safely. I was really impressed with how carefully they cleaned up afterward — my yard actually looked better than it did before they came! It’s not every day you find a company that takes such pride in their work and treats your home like it’s their own. I’d happily recommend 1010 Tree Service to anyone who needs tree work done — they’re reliable, kind, and clearly know what they’re doing.
