A 2022 customer said Chris gave them the information to decide which trees to cut and which needed pruning or the crown raised.
I called Chris to prune an out of control apple tree along with another overgrown tree as well. Unlike other tree businesses, Chris answered my call right away despite being out of the country at the time. Upon returning, he promptly came over to give me an estimate and provided excellent service as well. He described to me how it was important to create airflow for the apple tree and what branches he needed to cut. I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a reasonable price and a quality job. He knows what he is doing!
Chris and his team are very professional. The quality of work was excellent. Chris is a wealth of knowledge and informed us with information that allowed us to determine what trees to cut and which ones either needed pruning or the crown raised.
Chris Lucey, a degreed naturalist and arborist, has been taking care of our trees for 5 years due to a lucky referral when we first moved to town. Everything about Chris and his crew is a class act, as the multiple 5 star reviews attest. But I want to add something more, something that I see as extremely significant. Once when Chris and his two crew members were here, I took the time to watch--really watch--what they were doing. They were pruning and thinning our crabapple trees, and I was amazed by how deliberate and thoughtful each cut was. The trees needed a lot of thinning, yet they worked so slowly and deliberately it was like they were in slow motion. No hurrying to get done and move on to the next job. There was a deep respect in the way they worked: for what they were doing and for the trees they were cutting. It was truly wonderful to witness. Kevin Osborne
