It was time for a major change to our old screen porch and falling apart wooden deck. Stephen and team did an absolutely fantastic job ripping out the old, and installing the amazing new. New Trex material for the outdoor deck, new propane line run, and a new 3-season porch that we've fallen in love with, with 4-track windows. We couldn't be happier with the final looks & quality of the install. Stephen also did great job of communicating and helping evolve the shape of the bill - helping provide a range of options so we could choose the things that mattered most for spending a bit more vs. making smart budget conscious choices. Stephen and his crew have done exemplary work in bringing our dream home into reality! We wanted a high efficiency house (equivalent or better than Passivhaus standards) and he did not disappoint. Working with us to understand what we wanted and bringing recommendations for further improvements we had not thought of, his insights and skills brought our plans to be even more than we'd expected. My Mom was widowed suddenly and her best option was to build an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) on our property in New Hampshire. We chose Stephen and 4B Construction because we felt heard with our requests and knew quality wouldn't be compromised. It was apparent from the beginning that Stephen was passionate about the home's efficiency and not cutting corners. Stephen was extremely flexible and patient as we explored different layouts and modifications to the design. The focus and timeline of the build was incredible. There are countless things to account for when building a home and Stephen was able to manage all of it seamlessly. 4B Construction brings a good energy to the job site. The subcontractors respect the team and match 4B's quality of work. My Mom was in California during the construction so I was the main point person and felt very comfortable asking questions and bringing up any concerns she had throughout the build. The guys were friendly with our dog and my boys which is important since 4B was here most days in the summer. They even totally embraced a surprise water balloon attack one summer afternoon! We highly recommend Stephen and 4B Construction for their quality work and finished product. We know that Mom's ADU is a solid build and will see many happy years.

4B construction completed a 20' x 16' addition, renovated our kitchen, bath and added an entry way to our home. Throughout the entire process Stephen was professional, delivered on his commitments, timely and responsive. When problems did arise (and they will in home renovation), Stephen was engaged, accountable and worked to find cost effective solutions. His estimating and invoicing process was transparent and clear. Additionally, Stephen was flexible and willing to support additional scope of work to include an exterior door and small deck replacement. My wife and I will use Stephen and team again in our next renovation project.

4B Construction did a large addition to our home which included a 2-car garage with an apartment above. We could not be happier with the work they did and the way they did it. Stephen was helpful in the design and careful in the execution. He communicated throughout and was always on site when he said he would be (no small detail when compared to many contractors). He and Connor were an absolute pleasure to work with...my wife and I give them our highest recommendation. In fact, as long as he is available, we don't anticipate calling anyone else in the future.
