A smooth new driveway and a driveway that stayed too soft: customers describe both experiences with A&A Paving. In an August 2026 Google review, one customer praised the binder coat and later top coat, fair pricing, arrival as promised, and a smooth finish with the right pitch. A&A is based in East Falmouth and says it provides residential and commercial paving, maintenance, paver, sealcoating, and drainage services across Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. It describes itself as owner operated. An October 2025 Google reviewer described an asphalt driveway that smeared, sank, and developed divots, with chair legs sinking into the surface. The customer said repeated callbacks brought assurances that this was normal and blame for driving on it. They also said a materials engineer attributed the problem to a bad asphalt mixture, and that A&A never made it right. Those are the customer’s allegations, rather than an independent determination about the materials. A July 2026 reviewer separately complained that the crew was blocking a dead-end neighborhood. In a March 2026 review, another customer praised the response, accommodation of their schedule, reasonable pricing, and repairs that had held up. Google’s August 2026 listing showed a 3-star average from four ratings. BBB gives the company an A+ grade and lists it as unaccredited, with John Haddad as owner. The company reports 20 years in business, while BBB lists a 2009 business start.
