A&A Paving is an owner-operated East Falmouth paving company run by John Haddad, in business since 2009 according to BBB, doing residential and commercial driveways, walkways, pavers, sealcoating, drainage and repair work across Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. The two most recent detailed reviews, from March and August of this year, describe good outcomes: one homeowner said repairs held up well after a fair-priced, responsive job; another described a binder coat laid during construction followed by a top coat, calling the finished driveway smooth with the right pitch and the crew quick and fair on price. In an October 2025 review, a different customer described a much rougher experience — an asphalt driveway that came out too soft, with too much tar mixed in, that smeared, sank and developed divots, with chair legs sinking into the surface when furniture was set out. The review said the company was called back multiple times over it. A separate July 2026 review complained about their equipment blocking a dead-end street during a job, which is a different kind of issue — access and parking, not the finished work itself. For paving work, the more recent reviews point to solid, fairly priced results, but the October 2025 account of a defective driveway is a real one — worth asking directly about the asphalt mix and any warranty on the finished surface before signing on.
They did my binder coat while building and recently did my top coat. Quick, fair pricing, showed up when they said they would. Driveway looks great, nice and smooth with great pitch where it needs it.
Guys are blocking a dead end neighborhood
Great response , worked with our schedule , repairs came out nice and have held up nicely , price was very reasonable !
Had an asphalt driveway redone by them. The asphalt that they used was defective, too soft, had too much tar in it. It smeared, sank, developed divots, and when chairs were put out on it for sitting, the chair legs sank deeply into the too-soft asphalt. They were called back many times, always said that was "normal", blamed us for driving on it! Had a materials engineer look at it who said that obviously they had used a bad mixture for the asphalt. A and A never made good on it. I have seen the same with other asphalt driveways and lots they have done. Not recommended. Bad enough that they did it wrong, but far worse that they tried to gaslight us, and refused to make it right.
