Highlights
- Creative problem-solving — 2021 review cites a custom dryer vent solution
- Fast turnaround — job finished the next day
- Registration lapsed — MA home improvement contractor license listed expired
A&J Handyman Services is a Peabody handyman business run by Anthony. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is listed as expired in the state registry. The one written account on file is older: in a 2021 review, a customer described Anthony installing a dryer vent by creatively modifying a basement window, finishing the job the next day for a reasonable cost and staying responsive throughout. With just one review, five years old now, there isn't much of a current track record to go on. For handyman work in the Peabody area, ask about current licensing and for a couple of recent references before hiring.

We called with a request to install a dryer vent by modifying an existing basement window. Anthony was super responsive, thought creatively on the spot, and had the job done at the end of the next day (for a totally reasonable cost). We’ll definitely be calling again when other jobs come up!
