Magic Martin Cleaning and Odd Jobs is the kind of one-person operation you call when the list of small things around the house keeps growing — a wall to spackle, curtains to take down, a closet to organize, a floor to wash. Run by Martin Ryan out of Salem, the company has been at it since 2017 and works the North Shore, naming Lynn, Peabody, Beverly, Swampscott and Nahant among the towns it covers. The word that follows Martin across nearly every review is the same: reliable. On Google he carries a 5-star average from 17 ratings, and the theme running through them is dependability and trust — someone people bring back for cleaning one week and odd repairs the next. A recent customer singled out his professionalism and called the prices reasonable, which lines up with how the rest of his history reads. It's a modest paper trail, and worth seeing clearly. Most of the rating weight sits on Google; the Angi page, by contrast, is a single five-star review from 2018, and directories like Networx list just one as well. The enthusiasm is real, but it isn't yet deep across many independent sources. A couple of housekeeping notes before you call. His credentials are self-reported — the Angi listing shows no accreditation or verified license — which is normal for cleaning and handyman work but worth confirming before anything specialized. And the address varies by listing: the Salem Chamber and several directories show 10 Red Jacket Lane, while others show 14 Orient Way, so it's worth pinning down where he's based and exactly what he covers. For routine home cleaning, organizing, and the steady drip of odd jobs, Martin is a well-reviewed, established local pick. Settle the scope and the price up front, confirm the address, and you'll know what you're getting.

FotoEvidence publishes documentary photography books. We're based in Europe. Martin manages our US inventory and ships our orders. He's consistant and reliable and stays on top of everything. We're grateful to have him as part of organization.

This guy is a gem. If you need Odd jobs done around your house.. Contact him. In the middle of moving, I have a number of different jobs to be done, including spackling holes in the wall, taking down curtains, hardware, and packing them, and just a bunch of general stuff getting ready for a move from a rental to our house. Extremely reliable and fair priced.
