That customer wrote that another roofer they brought in to inspect said AJ Long had used no ice and water shield or felt paper, just shingles on wood with three nails per shingle, and that the roof had to be redone after five years.
My house was roofed my AJ Long roofing and had multiple leak, some in the same spot even after I called them back to repair. Finally after the fourth time, I call another roofer to inspect. He said AJ Long did not use any ice and water or felt paper, just shingles on wood and they only used 3 nails per shingle. He said it was on of the worse jobs he has ever seen and it would have only cost another $200 in material to make it right during installation. I had to have my roof redone after 5 years. Stay away.
