A flushing problem that came down to how someone else had built the plumbing: a recent Google customer said Will Tierney found it was not set up to drain properly and made a change with pipes under the house that solved it. Tierney Building Services says on its website that it serves Long Island, and a recent customer named Will as the owner. Plumbing runs deep here. A recent customer said Tierney Building Services expanded 20-year-old kitchen plumbing (drain, vent and fixtures) to support a kitchen remodel with a center island work station and a cocktail sink, working partly in a less than ideal crawl space and proposing a simpler alternative piping arrangement. A recent customer said Will and Craigley did the plumbing for a bathroom remodel at a summer cottage on Long Island. A recent customer said Will consulted on a whole-house plumbing project that turned a combined bath/laundry into two separate spaces and added a half bath in a guest suite. The work goes well past pipes. A recent customer said Tierney put on a new roof in the spring of ’26, that Will worked through the color and type of shingle with a lot of wind exposure in mind, and that the crew cleaned up daily. A recent customer said Tierney Building Service built a custom-designed home and has handled maintenance and new projects since. A recent customer said Will has serviced the closing and opening of a winter home for a number of years and stepped up to complete closing in a shed addition before winter. On heating, a recent customer said Tierney installed a gas fireplace at a cottage, and a recent customer wrote that Will's brother Craigly serviced a Toyotomi. A recent customer hired them for new construction and repairs and said prices were within reason for island work. Its Maine plumber license, MS90021887, is active, held by William L Tierney.
I would recommend Tierney Builder’s to anyone looking for good workmanship and dependable service. They are punctual, reliable and take pride in doing a good job! What I especially appreciated is they follow up after the job to make sure you are happy with the work!
Will has serviced the closing and opening of our winter home for a number of years. He also stepped-up last fall when I needed someone to complete closing in a shed addition before winter. All in all, he has been reliably and trustworthy.
My experience with Tierney Building Services has been very limited due to the fact that I've just had my home updated. However, dealing with Will has always been a pleasure,
Fast and wonderful service on a Saturday!
Can be counted on to show up on time and gets the work done in a timely manner. If a call back Is necessary Will returns right away to fix any issues.
