Two names come up again and again in AJ Rose's reviews — Marlene on the sales floor, Max and Santos on installs — and that is the tell: this is a showroom-plus-installer operation where the same people walk a job from sample to finished floor. Customers describe picking carpet, hardwood, vinyl and runners in the store, getting measured, and having a crew show up to lay it. The volume behind that is real. Google carries a 4.7 across 259 ratings, Best Pick Reports 4.8 across 115, and Houzz 4.8 across 50. Its Better Business Bureau page is an A+, accredited since 2007. What customers keep pointing at is the handoff between store and crew. One buyer this July got scatter rugs plus hallway and staircase runners installed and noted the house was left as spotless as the crew found it. In March, a shopper described Lyn bringing out samples in many colors and fabrics before the choice was made, Lori handling scheduling, and two friendly installers finishing the job. A first-time customer in May summed it up as no pressure sales pitch — went in, got recommendations, picked what they liked, scheduled the measurement, and the install was quick. The stair and runner work draws particular attention. So does a June job where the installer walked the rooms first, then figured out how to lay the carpet with far fewer seams than the computer plan called for — eliminating them entirely in the office and bedrooms. Price is the thing to press on. A February shopper who liked the selection and the low-pressure staff still called it a little more expensive than other floor dealers, and the review history over the years includes complaints about installation follow-through going quiet once a problem was raised. Nail down what the quoted number covers — measurement, removal of old flooring, thresholds and transitions — and get the punch-list process in writing before you sign, so a callback is a scheduled visit rather than a negotiation. If you want to touch the samples, compare brands in one room, and have one company handle both the material and the crew, this is the sort of operation that setup suits. Confirm the total scope and the timeline at the point of order, and ask who to call if something needs fixing after the installers leave.

I purchased three scatter rugs, hallway and staircase runners. They are absolutely beautiful and the installation workers did a great job installing them. They left my home as spotless as they found it. I would highly recommend AJ Rose Carpets.

A terrific experience all around, from the showroom visit to make our selection, to the professional installation in our home. Great service and fair price.

From start to finish, it was truly a wonderful experience. You were fantastic to work with — both in the showroom and afterward while answering all of my many questions. Your knowledge, responsiveness, and patience made the entire process easy and enjoyable. I also cannot say enough great things about Santos the installer and his helper, Daniel — they were absolutely AWESOME! Santos arrived right on time, introduced himself, and took the time to walk through the project with me before getting started. After reviewing the work areas and design plan, he came up with a fantastic idea! He determined that he was able to install the carpet with minimal seams throughout the rooms versus all the seams generated by the computer program. While there are a few seams at some entryways (which are barely noticeable), he was able to eliminate seams entirely in the office and two — possibly even all three — of the bedrooms. The finished result looks incredible. And the stair runner installation? Santos absolutely nailed it!! The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.
