A Plus General Contracting

A Plus General Contracting is a Dartmouth outfit run by Joseph Machado, working across a range of home-renovation trades rather than one specialty. BuildZoom's permit history runs five projects from 2012 to 2022: a roof strip-and-replace in Plymouth (2022), a Quincy rehab with 12 replacement windows plus a new kitchen and hardwood floors (2017), porch baluster and kitchen/vanity work in East Falmouth (2012), a cedar-siding and re-roof exterior remodel with interior insulation and drywall in Teaticket (2013), and a bulkhead door replacement in Wareham (2022). That history gives it a BuildZoom score of 92, in the top third of Massachusetts contractors. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license, #156142, is active, per the state registry. BuildZoom also lists a Rhode Island contractor registration, #31552, under the company — check with Rhode Island's licensing board directly for its current status. A fit for a homeowner who wants one contractor handling several trades on a renovation; confirm current licensing in both states and get a written scope for the specific work involved.
