In an October 2026 Google review, a customer who called several places down Google's list says A-Z Water Systems was the only one that asked questions about the issue, had someone out within two hours, and had the water back on within 30 minutes. The New Gloucester business works on private well water — pumps, pressure tanks and treatment systems — and its website lists water filtration, water testing and treatment for arsenic, iron, hard water, radon in water and uranium. It says it has been in business 40 years and holds 4.6 stars from 81 Google ratings. An April 2026 customer has used the company twice to replace deep well pumps at separate locations. A January 2026 customer says a technician named Brenda went over the faulty components of a failed bubble-up system and explained everything. In a December 2024 review, a customer who worked with Ben at the office and the owner, Karl, on site says the crew did the job from the excavation to the electrical. A September 2025 customer hired the company to frack their well and says it was done within a two-week window. In an August 2025 review, a customer with low water pressure says Ben suggested it might be low water from the drought rather than selling a new pump. A January 2026 one-star review says a father-son crew the manager had agreed not to send showed up anyway to replace an arsenic filtration system and spilled the old tank's contents across the lawn. A February 2024 customer says a roughly ten-minute maintenance visit for one light bulb and one filter cost $294 and the billing department hung up on them. In a February 2023 review, a customer who broke a filter housing was quoted $350 for a callout and installation and told they could not just buy the part. A January 2025 customer calls the company's mailed postcards, which say FINAL NOTICE about a parcel on hold, misleading.
