On Thumbtack, it describes itself as founded in 2017 and specializing in "local and long-distance moving, as well as a wide range of handyman services." Another 2024 Thumbtack review describes a move that "turned out to be a little trickier than we anticipated, plus heavy traffic" and praises their flexibility. In a separate 2024 review, the movers "got the job done right" and gave a very good price. A 2024 Thumbtack review of moving a treadmill down two floors, with disassembly and reassembly, says they went and bought the tools that were missing, but the job took much longer than it should have, the assembly was questionable, and they left dents in the hardwood floor.
The movers were very friendly and got the job done right.gave me a very good price.
Very pleased with their professionalism and also flexibility when some of the move turned out to be a little trickier than we anticipated, plus heavy traffic. Did a great job for us.
We are extremely happy with A1 and highly recommend! They were very responsive, available quickly, got the job done even though we increased the work load they got it done no complaints. Very hard working we will use again in the future.
I appreciated the quick turn around in booking them but they just weren’t the right fit for the job of moving a treadmill down two floor (with disassemble and reassemble) . I’ll give it to them - I didn’t have the right tools, so they went and bought them but overall took much longer than it should have, assembly was questionable even after providing a video, and they left dents in the hardwood floor. I’m sure they’d be great general movers but this was a bit outside their skill set.
I couldn't be more pleased with A1 Moving & Handyman Services. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who expects a reliable, punctual, friendly, professional, affordable experience! I will be calling on them again.
