In March 2026 a customer called A1- Plumbing & Heating in the morning with a major leak in the cellar. A man who answered the phone arranged for a service person to come to the house within an hour, and the customer wrote that the problem was fixed and the charges were very reasonable. In August 2026 a customer had leaking pipe problems fixed promptly on a Saturday morning by a friendly technician, and in October 2026 another wrote that they came out and unclogged a clogged toilet. In January 2026 a customer wrote that Gary and Mike were thorough and explained everything. In a November 2023 review, a customer whose 20-plus-year-old Bock indirect water heater was leaking wrote that Shawn returned the call that day and came the next day with his associate Ed. Shawn then found a matching unit in Central Massachusetts and drove out to pick it up so they would not wait for shipping, and the job was completed on a Saturday; the diagnostic charge they had been told about ahead of time was credited on the bill. In October 2023 Shawn was at a customer's home half an hour after the call, purchased a new toilet and had the installation complete in two hours. In a March 2022 review, a customer wrote that the assistant plumber spent about 10 hours on a washer/dryer water line, a kitchen drain, a refrigerator water line and a bathroom faucet; afterward there was no hot water at the kitchen sink, the drain was still clogged, the refrigerator water did not work and the bathroom sink still leaked, and he charged for the return call. In a January 2023 review, a customer wrote that a furnace cleaning was rescheduled 7 times and, six months after booking, still had not happened. In December 2022 a customer with a rental property took the day off and drove an hour for a rescheduled 9am appointment; a call for an ETA got the answer that he was running about 30 minutes late, and by 1pm no one had shown up or called.
