Aardvark Painting Services

Aardvark's painting work has included a whole house and a remodeled basement: in a February 2017 HomeAdvisor review, a homeowner said the company had painted every room, completely remodeled the finished basement, installed new doors and stained replacement windows. The business describes itself as a family-owned painting company serving East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Longmeadow, Hampden, Monson, Ludlow and Springfield. Its website offers interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, with carpentry, handyman work and refinishing alongside it. In an August 2017 Google review, a customer described a living-room repaint that changed the room's appearance, praising attention to detail and the crew's knowledge of paints for different surfaces. A February 2022 Google reviewer praised Josh and his crew's interior painting, promptness, professionalism and reasonable pricing. A February 2017 HomeAdvisor customer praised the cleanup, saying the company left little sign it had been there. Those are dated customer experiences, rather than promises about the next job. One August 2018 Google reviewer reported sloppy work, unfinished painting and property damage. A separate couple writing on Google in July 2018 said they had worked with Aardvark for years, felt comfortable and trusted the company; they described being treated without judgment as a lesbian couple. The website says estimates are free and the business is insured. It also lists power washing, wallpaper removal, textured ceilings, staining, floor refinishing, garage door installation, and electrical and plumbing services. Its Google average is 4.3 stars from six ratings, and BBB gives it an A+ grade without accreditation. Aardvark's self-written Angi description calls it a fourth-generation painting company with family roots going back to 1907; BBB dates the business start to 1964.
