Accelerated Electrical Services is a residential electrician whose website lists service upgrades, EV chargers, lighting and circuitry, generator installation and service, mini-split wiring and pool wiring. The site also lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. It holds 5 stars from 12 Google ratings and 5.0 stars from 13 on Angi. A 2024 customer said the company had handled their electrical work since they bought the house over 12 years earlier, from moving light switches and installing ceiling fans to wiring the entire second floor they added to their ranch. That 2024 customer also said the company installed a 20k standby generator and troubleshot a previous contractor's mess. A 2025 customer said the company brought electricity and lights to parts of their house, garage and yard, including lighted bathroom mirrors and electricity trenched to a shed. A 2025 reviewer said the company installed an outlet for a kiln in two houses, a hot tub, and a new electric service in a previous home, and called its pricing fair. A 2024 customer who owns an old multi-family property in New Britain wrote that Peter and Brian corrected the problems the customer found and brought electrical issues to code. A 2023 customer said the company fit them in the same day, diagnosed the problem and solved it quickly. In a 2015 review, a customer said Pete installed an electric range hood that needed a pipe run through three cabinets and vented out the wall, with a final price a bit lower than his quote. A 2025 customer on Angi said the work involved cutting holes in the walls to install wiring and ceiling fans, and that the rooms were left clean. That 2025 customer also said the crew arrived about an hour later than scheduled, though the work finished earlier than the original window.
This company was very good to work with. Katy kept me posted by message for scheduling and billing. The two men who arrived right on time did a great job, and were very efficient and neat. The bill was very reasonable too. I'm not sure five stars is even enough!
The technicians were wonderful. Very skilled and very kind. They fixed my problems in one visit. They went above and beyond. They put a GFI in my bathroom and they got my kitchen light working and connected to the light switch. I am very satisfied.
Want it done right and professional? These are the guys to call! Great work on a full home remodel and wiring a new pool heater! Guys are very professional and personal! Thank you for all the great work Pete and Brian and team.
Accelerated was excellent to work with from start to finish. They contacted me right away to schedule a time to view my project fora quote. They arrive exactly when they said they would and were in and out in 20 min, and I had my quote 2 hours later. The crew that came to perform the work were great. They arrived about a hour later than scheduled, but the work was still completed earlier than the window they originally gave me and the rooms that they worked in were immaculate, even though they had to cut holes in my walls to install the wiring and ceiling fans I wanted.
We’ve used Accelerated Electrical for several projects over the years including installing an outlet for a kiln (twice in two houses), a hot tub, and a new electric service in a previous home. Can’t say enough great things about Pete and his team. They are professional, do high quality and clean looking work, and their pricing has always been fair. They have also always shown up on time. We will definitely be reaching out for future projects!
