A breaker problem that cut power to part of a home brought one customer to Alex at Wethersfield Electric LLC. In a March 2025 Google review, that customer said he came by and fixed it quickly. The company has a 5-star Google average from 15 ratings, with written reviews spanning 2022–2025. Its Connecticut electrician license is active. The older accounts cover substantial electrical upgrades as well as repairs. A May 2024 customer described several projects at the same home: replacing the service cable, installing a bathroom fan and new outlets and fixtures, and correcting old wiring left by a previous owner. In April 2023, another customer said Alex installed three ceiling fans, labeled the panel and replaced breakers. A June 2022 reviewer described a 200-amp panel upgrade with new circuits and outlets, and said the company handled the permits. Customers also described how Alex explained the work. A September 2023 reviewer said he walked them through what was needed and why, suggested a fix mindful of cost, and completed work that passed inspection without rework. In June 2022, a homeowner with partial power loss said Alex responded within an hour, stopped by to assess it on his way home, then returned when promised to make the repair and explain the problem. Lighting work appears in several dated accounts. In May 2022, a customer described more than a dozen recessed kitchen lights, kitchen peninsula outlets and a relocated garage switch. A February 2022 homeowner said Alex added bedroom lights within half a day without opening walls, and also added living-room lighting without opening the ceiling.
Alex is the guy for the job. I lost power in part of my home due to an issue with a breaker and he came by and fixed it quick.
Alex was incredibly prompt with getting back to me after I reached out and also arriving on the day of install. He is very professional and efficient with the work he does. I would definitely recommend him for work and will be utilizing him in the future when I have other work to be done.
Alex is the absolute best, and I recommend him to everyone I can. Responsive, friendly, competitive pricing. He’s always happy to explain what he’s seeing and how he’ll fix it, and he regularly goes above and beyond
Alex is the only electrician I’ll call for work. I’ve had him over for multiple projects at my home including my service cable replacement, new bathroom fan, all new outlets/fixtures throughout, and cleaning up some of the sketchy old wiring/DIY surprises from the previous owner. He’s super responsive and knowledgeable, and does great work for a reasonable price. I ended up referring him to my father for some work as well and he took great care of him. Can’t recommend Wethersfield Electric enough.
Thoughtful and transparent with noticeable skill and professionalism. Walked us through the whole process and explained what was needed and why. Mindful of cost and suggested the right-sized fix for the job. Inspections passed without any rework. Felt comfortable having them in/on my property without supervision.
