The same customer said Matt installed a wireless remote for a bedroom ceiling fan whose pull chain had broken off. A 2026 customer said Tim was able to walk them through what to do after a circuit tripped, and that Matt then came to the house, replaced one electric heater and fixed both thermostats. A 2025 customer who has used the company many times said it installed a Tesla charger, an oven outlet, a new circuit breaker box and bedroom lighting, and always cleaned up afterward. A 2024 customer wrote: "Fair price, fast response, clean."

New Review for July 2026: I can not say enough good things about Tim Ackert and Ackert Electric. Tim and his team are caring, friendly, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and affordable. In July I came back from vacation to one of my hard-wired smoke alarm beeping which very loud and constant beeping. I tried changing batteries and tried removing from ceiling and it sent all of the alarms off! I could not figure out how to get them off the ceiling due to the hard wired. I called Tim Ackert, he said he would be over in a couple hours to help me. Also when I called him, I was on a ladder, Tim reminded me of safety in that moment. Helpful reminder when we are overwhelmed to remain calm. Tim came over and helped me with the alarm that was beeping. He disconnected from the ceiling and provided me with education about smoke alarms. I did not know that hard wired alarms have an automatic timer date of 10 years for safety. They go off when they are ready to be replaced and will keep beeping until replaced. He should me the date on the alarm. Also explained to me the locations of smoke alarms and combination of smoke alarms/carbon monoxide need to go in your home. Tim ordered new smoke alarms/carbon monoxide that I needed for my home. Then once they came in Matt from his team installed them for me. This is the 2nd time I had Matt at my home and he is great! Thank you again to Ackert Electric. ___________________________________________ I hired Ackert Electric to fix my bedroom ceiling fan. Tim Ackert and their Project Manager Matt Smith was so helpful, affordable and friendly. My ceiling fan was not control by a wall switch only a pull chain which broke off. I use the ceiling fan all the time, instead of installing a wall switch, Tim recommended the wireless remote. Matt came to my home and installed a wireless remote. I now have control of the fan light and the fan speeds. This made everything so more convenient to enjoy my fan.
Quick, efficient and beyond helpful. Had 2 out of 3 electric heaters stop working. Ended up tripping a circuit before my appointment over the weekend and Tim was able to walk me through what I needed to do. Matt was then able to come to the house, replace one heater and fix both thermostats quickly. Would not use any other company other than Ackert!
I have used Ackert electric many times over the years. They helped us get rid of electricity in our wall when we took out a wall, they installed a Tesla charger for us, installed an oven outlet, a new circuit breaker box, installed new lighting in our bedroom, and they always clean up after themselves.
Everyone that has come to our home for various projects has been above and beyond outstanding. The customer service and professionalism is top notch!
